These captains bring not only skill and experience on the field but also a passion for the game and a commitment to fostering teamwork and sportsmanship within their respective teams. Get to know the faces who will be guiding our players and striving for success across all levels of competition.
1st XI
Led by Ryan, our 1st XI currently competes in Shropshire Division 1, and after the heartbreak of narrowly missing out on promotion for two consecutive seasons, their determination remains strong as they continue to strive for a place in the Shropshire Premier League
2nd XI
Following a period of impressive progress with two promotions in the last three campaigns, Steve leads our Second XI, who now face the challenge of consolidating their position and gaining a solid foothold in the competitive environment of Shropshire's Division 4
3rd XI
Alan steps into the new season at the helm of the Third XI, bringing renewed hope and aiming to capitalize on the positive momentum gained towards the end of the previous campaign. Facing significant competition within the Sunday Division, this year promises to be an excellent test for our developing junior players as they transition into the challenges of hard ball cricket
Mid-Week XI
Shrewsbury Division 2
Our popular Mid-Week XI continues to thrive, offering an exciting T20 competition held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. This inclusive Mixed XI proudly brings together players from our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd XI teams, fostering camaraderie across our club. Furthermore, we extend a warm welcome to players from surrounding clubs who may lack mid-week playing opportunities with their own teams, creating a friendly and vibrant atmosphere that strengthens our local cricketing network.
