Charity Bike Ride 2015

Anthony Nolan
The BHCC Charity Bike Ride 2015 will take place on Monday 4th May.

Starting and finishing at Bomere Heath Cricket Club, there will be 2 routes: –

Route 1 will be c.65 miles around north Shropshire for more experienced riders.

Route 2 will be slightly longer than last year at 20 miles for everybody who would like to take part!

This year, we are raising money for Anthony Nolan and BHCC. All proceeds will be split 50/50 between the charity and the cricket

Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer, such as leukaemia, by matching them to people willing to donate their bone marrow, or blood stem cells, for lifesaving transplants.

Craig Wills, Community Coordinator at Anthony Nolan, said: ‘The fundraising that Bomere Heath Cricket Club is doing makes such a big difference to people with blood cancer. It costs £100 to recruit each person to the Anthony Nolan register, so fundraising is a vital part of our lifesaving work. The more fundraising we do, the more potential donors we can recruit onto the bone marrow register, and the more lives we can save.’

For those wishing to take part in the Charity Bike Ride 2015 for Anthony Nolan and BHCC, you can find the sponsorship form here, where you can download and print the form to take around and get as many sponsors as possible!
