The Bomere Heath Cricket Club Annual General Meeting took place on 6th December 2011 with a number of new posts and changes of personnel on the committee for the 2012 season.

Andrew Gittins takes over from James Bellamy as the clubs new Secretary after a very narrow vote. The club wishes to publicly thank James for all of his hard work and endeavour over the past number of seasons and hope that he will continue his good work for the club as a member over the forthcoming seasons.

The 1st xi will be under the same captaincy team in 2012 as 2011 with Ian Gillespie taking charge with Andy McIlroy as his vice-captain.

Darren Nudds has had to step down from the captaincy of the 2nd xi due to moving out of the area but the good news is that he will still be available to play despite the elongated travel. Ian Day returns from a season away from the game to take over the captaincy in a 3-way vote (the first time ever at BHCC) with his vice-captain being Mike Barlow.

The 3rd xi will be captained by Chris Scott for the second year in succession with Martin James stepping into the vice-captains role.

The new post of Public Relations Officer has been taken by Matthew Hall.

The 2011 AGM had a fantastic large turnout of members which is a tribute to how well the club doing at the present time.
